Summer Music Classes at The Red Hen Register now for a 5 week class with Erica Berry from Jammin Baby. Thursday mornings at 9:45 or 10:45 from July 26th through August 23rd. Jammin Baby, LLC is a licensed provider of Music Together early childhood music programs for children 5 and under. Music Together is a mixed aged curriculum based music class that provides a foundation for basic rhythmic and tonal competence. Music Together has been around for over 25 years and offers classes all over the world. It is known for being culturally diverse and age appropriate. Songbird Music and Movement Every Monday from 10:00 - 10:30 a.m. Classes include songs from around the world, scarf play, creative movement, puppets, and instrument exploration. Babies and children under 5 are welcome to participate with a caregiver. $60 for a 6-class punch card or $12 per drop-in. Siblings are half off. First visit is FREE! Our In-House Photographer Christine Prisk is at The Red Hen every 3rd Sunday from noon - 3 p.m. and then at Community Park on Estes Dr. from 3:00 - 5:30 (weather permitting). Breastfeeding Cafe -- Every Monday Breastfeeding Cafe, an informal drop-in gathering will be held every Monday afternoon between 1:00 - 2:00 at The Red Hen. Breastfeeding Cafe is an opportunity for breastfeeding mothers to bring their babies and meet other nursing moms in a casual setting. A Leader accredited by La Leche League International will be on hand to answer questions, provide up-to-date information, or just chat. Bring your baby or stop by on your lunch break to: Visit with other mothers and babies. Ask breastfeeding questions of an accredited LLL Leader. Learn about other LLL events and happenings in Chapel Hill and beyond. Pregnant women, breastfeeding mothers, babies, and toddlers who need to be with their mothers are welcome.
